Dear classmates:
With the increase of travel, fraud cases around popular attractions, concerts, sports events and other ticketing links have significantly increased. Many students suffer financial losses and even affect their travel plans due to their trust in "low-priced tickets" and "internal tickets". In order to help you identify risks and travel safely, this lesson focuses on ticket and attraction fraud. Please read carefully and remind each other.
I. Fraudulent means
1.Selling fake tickets or "wild scenic spot" services on site: Scammers often appear around popular scenic spots, theme parks, or performance venues, holding "student tickets," "internal tickets," or "group tickets," using phrases such as "no queuing," "limited time discounts," and "not many remaining tickets" to attract attention. Once you make the payment, you will either receive a forged ticket that is rejected by the gate, or be taken to a "wild scenic spot" without security and legal qualifications, with extremely poor experience and difficult rights protection.
2.Online false ticket information: The fraudster publishes information such as "low price transfer", "ticket grabbing" and "internal reserved tickets" on social platforms, second-hand trading websites or informal ticket groups, and requires you to transfer money privately through WeChat, Alipay, etc. After receiving the money, the other party may delay or directly block or go missing due to reasons such as "system delay" or "tickets sold out". Some scams may also synchronously extract your ID card and bank card information, causing secondary losses.
3.Pretending to be an official customer service representative or agent: Scammers forge official ticket purchase pages, customer service contact information, or agent qualifications, inducing you to click on phishing links, fill in personal information, or perform "face recognition authentication" under the guise of "ticket upgrade", "refund claims", etc., thereby stealing account funds.
II. Preventive Tips
1.Identify official channels: Please purchase tickets through the official official account, applet or official ticket platform (such as Ctrip, Meituan).
2.Be cautious when purchasing tickets on site: please identify the official ticket window and do not trust roadside scalpers or individuals selling tickets.
3.Be wary of the temptation of low prices: Maintain a high level of vigilance towards "discounted tickets" with prices significantly lower than the market price, to avoid losing big for small gains.
Safety is no small matter, take precautions into consideration. Please purchase tickets rationally and stay away from fraud.
